Mission Summary

After Tavrik follows the USS Arawyn as she returns to Starbase 369 for a brief stand-down after completing operations in the Tavrik system. With the ship temporarily removed from frontline duty, shore leave is authorized and departments shift into intake, assessment, and recalibration. The pause allows the crew to process recent events in ways that were impossible while underway—through medical evaluations, counseling, technical reviews, and the quiet work of settling into new roles aboard a still-forming ship.

Across the Arawyn, individual stories unfold in parallel. In Sickbay, Riah Amberlyn oversees post-mission care that emphasizes continuity as much as clearance, reinforcing Medical as both a stabilizing presence and a place of trust. In Engineering, Ryan Collingway struggles privately with unresolved trauma, his meticulous focus and guarded interactions revealing how recovery remains uneven beneath outward professionalism. Meanwhile, Alura Ryn continues her work in quieter ways—offering moments of warmth and normalcy that do not demand healing, but invite connection. New arrivals complete onboarding, established crew members renegotiate their footing, and the ship slowly begins to feel lived-in rather than newly commissioned.

Alongside these personal adjustments, the Arawyn undergoes a critical leadership transition with the unexpected resignation of her Executive Officer. Rather than rushing to fill the vacancy, Fleet Command engages Captain Sabrina Corbin directly in the selection process, leading to open discussions with Commander Suzanna Batenburg about expectations, authority, and the realities of serving aboard the ship. Batenburg’s eventual acceptance of the role is measured and deliberate, grounded in clarity rather than ambition. By the time the Arawyn prepares to depart Headquarters, her command team is set, her departments are steady, and her crew—new and seasoned alike—moves forward not because everything is resolved, but because they are aligned. After Tavrik closes not on crisis or triumph, but on readiness: a ship prepared to leave port as a unified whole, ready for what comes next.
