Sent to his room

Mission:
Lathira Shoreleave
Location: Crew Quarters
///USS Arawyn////
The rogue team of engineers beamed back to the Arawyn, then they were escourted in groups to crew quarters. Each guard was silent but it was clear they were not happy spending the night dealing with drunken Ensigns. No one pushed their luck. At this point plenty of personnel had returned back to the ship and gave Ryan plenty of amused looks. It was mortifying.
Ryan had gotten upgraded quarters with his promotion. More room and privacy. He loved it, but hadn't had a lot of time to enjoy it. He didn't have a roommate at the moment, so security simply locked the door behind him and moved on. When they were gone he leaned against the door and released a long sigh.
Eight hours wasn't long. Enough time for people to sleep and sober up. It was the afterwards everyone was probably dreading. What was it the Commander had said? They would face real consequences, not civilian?
The Commander. Ryan needed to get a grip on what he was dealing with. Because so far Harlan was running rings around him.
"Okay," he said to himself. First he had to take care of physical needs. He drank water. A lot of it. Then a shower. Nothing could be done about his pounding headache, but oh well. Part of his internal punishment.
Then he laid in bed and pulled up Commander Harlan's personal file, or as much as someone in his position could pull up. It was, as expected, interesting reading. Promotions and demotions seemed to follow him with every step. Ryan released a breath. Maybe Harlan saw through some of his lies, because he had done some of them himself.
He needed a better plan than what he was doing, because Harlan was reading him like a book right now, and that worried him. He would need to, as the Commander had said, bring his A-game. Keep his head down, do his job, and hopefully not gain anymore attention to himself then he had already caused.
He did one quick meditation, and made some new labels with the situation. One thing was for sure-he wasn't going drinking with Vel again anytime soon. That was definitely dangerous.
Eventually, he drifted off into sleep.
